Allan K. Christensen died of natural causes at his home in Sacramento, Calif., on Oct. 31. He was 73.
He was born in Powell to Eugene Christensen and Elizabeth Christensen Bunn. He graduated from Powell High School in 1953, then served two years in the Army. Allen attended college where he received a bachelor's degree in education and a master's degree in mathematics. He taught school for many years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Dr. Ray Christensen.
He is survived by his son, Eric, two brothers, Gene Christensen and Bert Christensen, two sisters, Lynell Drake and Marveen Palmer, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Cremation has taken place and interment will take place at Crown Hill Cemetery at a later date.
