Funeral services will be Friday, Oct. 31 at 2 p.m. at Thompson Funeral Home for Oliver Paul Kasinger, who died Sunday, Oct. 26 at Powell Valley Care Center. He was 95.
He was born July 29, 1913, in Bee Creek, Ill., son of Oliver Kasinger and Etta (Nelson) Kasinger. He married Louise Retzer on Nov. 19, 1935, in Illinois. They moved to Wyoming to farm near Powell in February of 1946. His wife died Dec. 10, 2003.
He enjoyed fishing and working with horses.
Survivors include two sons, Don (Donna) Kasinger of Powell and Oregon and Dale (Billie) Kasinger of Powell; a daughter, Vicki Huxtable (Jim) of Dublin, Calif.; eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife and seven brothers and sisters.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers at the funeral will be Don Kasinger, Jr., Mark Kasinger, Levi Norris, Dalton Norris, Clint Kasinger and David Norris.Honorary pallbearers are Margo Gerner and Chris Norris.
