Funeral services were Monday, July 9, at First United Methodist Church for Barbara L. Moore of Powell, who died Tuesday, July 3, at Powell Valley Hospital. She was 88.
She was born Oct. 21, 1918, at Glasgow, Mont., daughter of Manson Harvey Bailey and Addie Mae (Michael) Bailey. She completed high school in Glasgow.
On Dec. 26, 1940, she married Donald D. Moore in Glasgow, and they later moved to Powell.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and enjoyed reading, gardening, cooking and doing crossword puzzles.
Survivors include sons Steve Moore of Amarillo, Texas, and Charlie Moore of Powell; daughters Diane (Les) Jones of Casper, Kristy Moore of Powell and Joan (Jim) Slater of Powell; sisters, Evelyn (Fred) Smith of Evanston, Ill., Beth Ann Ruston of Tacoma, Wash., and Betty Jean Fuzesy of Broadus, Mont.; 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Moore; brother Manson Bailey Jr., and her parents.
Burial was in Crown Hill Cemetery under direction of Thompson Funeral Home.
