Mildred A. Albert, 74, died the morning of July 9, 2008. She was at home, surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Midge was born Mildred Alvina Hartman, Aug. 9, 1933, in Jamestown, N.D. As an infant, she moved to Powell, where she was raised and graduated from high school. She then moved to Billings to further her education. Midge graduated as a registered nurse from the Deaconess Hospital Nursing Program. The majority of her nursing career was spent working with Dr. Hulit, OB-GYN.

On April 19, 1955, Midge was united in holy matrimony to Robert W. Lewis. Of this union, they became proud parents of Lisa Ann Lewis. Robert died in 1975. Midge married her second husband, Lester M. Albert, Sept. 23, 1977, adding three children, Tammy, Rick and Tanya, to her family.

In 1983, Midge and Les purchased a building and established Attic Dreams Antiques. Since its purchase, they have enjoyed many years of buying, selling and taking antiques.

Midge is survived by her husband of 30 years, Lester Albert; her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Kevin Kleindl; her three stepchildren and their spouses, Tammy and Lucky Seibert, Tanya and Allen Hahne and Rick Albert and Julie Kanning. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were Saturday, July 12, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 2336 St. Johns Ave. Interment followed at Terrace Gardens Cemetery. Visitation was on Friday, July 11, at Smith West Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rocky Mountain Hospice.
