Clara Mae Laddusaw

Clara Mae Laddusaw died June 19, 2008 with all of her children at her side after a long and full life and a brief battle with cancer.  She was 89 years old.  Clara Mae was born on March 4, 1919 to Frank G. and Theresa B. Hart in Powell.  She was raised on the family homestead in the Garland area outside of Powell.  She attended elementary school at the Garland School and graduated from Powell High School.  Clara Mae spent periods of time living in many cities in Wyoming, Montana, South Dakota and Colorado, but the majority of her life was lived in Billings.

Clara Mae enjoyed many hobbies, including sewing, knitting, crocheting, beading, quilting and gardening.  She made many friends over the years sharing her talents in these areas with others.

Clara Mae is survived by her three daughters, Donna (Art) Encinias, of Santa Fe, N.M.; Pauly (Bill) Dugger of Tulsa, Okla.; Annie (Larry) Record of Thornton, Colo.; and her three sons, Tom (Debbie) Laddusaw of Bozeman; Ken (Carolyn) Laddusaw of Billings and Jim Laddusaw of Three Forks, Mont..  She is also survived by six grand children, five great grand children and many nieces and nephews.  Clara Mae was preceded in death by her brothers Howard Hart, Jim Hart, Hubert Hart and sister Mildred Huggins.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial service was held Monday, June 23, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3595 Monad Road, Billings, at 10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

The family wishes to thank the staffs at Rocky Mountain Hospice and Valley Health Care Center for the special care they provided to Clara Mae.
