Jeanne Marie Jorgensen, 60, died Wednesday, June 11 at Lander Regional Hospital after a short illness.
She was born Nov. 30, 1947, in Murdo, S.D., the oldest of four children born to Leonard and Marian Jorgensen. She lived at the Wyoming State Training School for 38 years. Jeanne enjoyed horse back riding, swimming and outings into the community. She was one of God's special angels.
She was preceded in death by her father, Leonard, and sister, Judith Ann.
She is survived by her mother, Marian of Powell, brother Joseph (Gina) of Evanston, sister Patricia (Marvin) Nelson of Cody, four nieces, and one nephew.
Services will be held Tuesday, June 17 at 2 p.m. at the WSTS chapel, with interment at WSTS. Memorials may be sent to the Special Services Fund at WSTS, 8204 Wyo.. Hwy.. 789, Lander, WY 82520.
