Mary Anna Potter, 102-year-old resident of Beehive Home in Powell, died Saturday, Jan. 20 at Powell Valley Hospital.

She was born Aug. 18, 1904, in Odessa, Russia, daughter of Casper and Margaret Haberlach. She moved to Canada at the age of 3 and attended school through the 10th grade.

She married Floyd L. Potter on July 6, 1927, and they lived in southern Saskatchewan and various places in Canada. A member of the Roman Catholic Church, she was a homemaker. She was fond of ballroom dancing.

Survivors include a daughter, Lois (Smokie) Richardson of Powell and step-daughters Rikki Richardson and Laurie (Don) Campbell of Brady, Mont.; a daughter-in-law, Beth Neff (Cal) of Caron, Saskatchewan, Canada; a stepson, Allan Richardson of Cody; a sister, Delia Loba of Visalia, Calif.; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1966; her parents; a son; five sisters and two brothers; one grandson, one great-grandson and one great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be scheduled at a later date. Burial will be in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, Canada.
