Funeral services are scheduled today (Thursday) at 10 a.m. at Union Presbyterian Church for Kenneth L. Chenoweth, 46, who died at Powell Valley Healthcare Friday, Dec. 8 of injuries sustained in an industrial accident.

The Rev. David Hunter will officiate.

Kenneth L. Chenoweth was born April 16, 1960, in Cody, son of Dale Chenoweth and Elizabeth (Parker) Chenoweth. He graduated from high school in 1978 and attended Wyo Tech. He continued his education in photography school, boating school, gunsmith school and flying school.

He was a mechanic by trade. He married Christine Guimond McRann on June 28, 1992 at Forsyth, Mont. The family lived in Powell.

Kenneth was a member of Heart Mountain Rod & Gun Club and AOPA. He enjoyed spending time with family, going to track meets and working on his cabin in Cooke City, Mont. He loved the outdoors and hunting, fishing, gunsmithing, camping and trap and skeet shooting.

Survivors include his wife Christine of Powell; sons, Adam (Alyssa) Chenoweth of Wahiawa, Hawaii, Danie Chenoweth and Dustin McRann of Powell; brothers Mike Chenoweth (Debbie) and Frank Chenoweth (Melanie), both of Cody; his parents, Dale and Elizabeth Chenoweth of Cody; and one grandchild. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Honorary pallbearers will be Adam Chenoweth, Daniel Chenoweth, Dustin McRann, Frank Chenoweth, Mike Chenoweth, Freddie Zier, Tait Murdock, Dennis McJunkin, Jay Albert, Greg Lynch, Dave Horton, John Horton, John Elfering, Richter Pauly, Bear May and Mike Williams.

Thompson Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
