Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 23 at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church for Opal L. Shroyer Buchli, 456 N. Cheyenne, Powell, who died Friday, Aug. 18 at Powell Valley Health Care. She was 74.
Pastor Don McPherson will officiate at services. Burial will be in Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Casper.
She was born Sept. 7, 1931, in Midwest, daughter of Jeff R. Vots and Vera (Rowan) Vots. She graduated from Midwest High School and married Willis Shroyer on May 1, 1952. After his death, she married Walt Buchli July 29, 1994.
A mother and housewife, she lived in Powell since 1974. She was a member of Assembly of God Church and enjoyed as hobbies card making, ceramics and cake decorating.
Survivors include her husband, Walt Buchli of Powell; sons and daughters-in-law, Jay and Jill Ekwall, Kent and Holly Shroyer and Mike and Lori Shroyer; daughter and son-in-law, Jacquie and Merle Martell; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her first husband; son, Timothy Shroyer; her parents; and a brother, Darwin Vots.
