Lena M. (Peggy) Vincent Ferguson, 92, died Dec. 7 at the Bonnie Bluejacket Nursing Home in Basin.

She was born Jan. 7, 1913, in Claremore, Okla. After being reared in Miami, Okla., she moved to Tulsa where she met and married Haskell Ferguson in 1943. They moved to Ore City, Texas in 1964.

From 1996 to 2002, she was a resident of the Rocky Mountain Manor retirement home in Powell. She moved to Lovell in 2002.

Survivors include her son, Ron Ferguson of Lovell and his wife Marsha; five grandchildren, Jessica Whitacre of Broken Arrow, Okla., Clinton Scott Ferguson of Aurora, Colo., Chris Ferguson of Lakewood, Colo., Rhonda Gatch of Lovell and Marlon Ferguson of Platte, S.D.; and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Haskell; her parents and her brothers.

She was known for her love of playing the piano. She also loved to travel and was an avid reader.

Services were Saturday, Dec. 10 at the Ore City, Texas, United Methodist Church. She was buried next to her husband, Haskell.
