Graveside services are scheduled today (Tuesday) at 1 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery in Powell for Geraldine J. Caughran, who died Wednesday, Dec. 7 at Applewood Living Center in Longmont, Colo. She was 79.

She was born March 24, 1926, in Eldorado, Kans., to Arvel and Letha (Wyman) Crumrine. She spent her early life in Kansas, Colorado and Wyoming.

She married Herman Caughran in 1952. She worked for 30 years as a bus depot agent and a hotel manager in Thermopolis. She moved to Longmont, Colo., from Thermopolis in 2003.

She was a long-time member of the Eagles Auxiliary in Thermopolis. She enjoyed sewing and embroidery.

Survivors include two sons, Max Crumrine and his wife Pat of Lovell and Rex Crumrine and his wife Diane of Yakima, Wash.; a daughter, Christine Donaldson and her husband Russ of Longmont, Colo.; a brother, Kenneth Crumrine of Thermopolis; three grandchildren, a step-grandson and eight great-grandchildren.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 9 in Longmont. Thompson Funeral Home of Powell is in charge of local arrangements.
