Rev. Floyd J. Schwieger died Wednesday, July 20 at North Big Horn Hospital in Lovell.
He was born in Fairmont, Minn., on Oct. 3, 1920. He graduated from Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, Mo., in 1945. During his many years of active ministry, he served congregations of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in Indiana, South Dakota, Idaho, Washington, and Wyoming.
Funeral services were held Monday, July 25 at St. John's Lutheran Church in Lovell. Burial was in the Lovell Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Schwieger Scholarship Fund, the Wyoming District Indian Ministry, or the Pryor Mountain Wild Mustang Center in Lovell.
