James Matthew (Bubba) Redner, 41, died Thursday, June 2 at his home in Billings, Mont.

He was born Feb. 2, 1964 to Kathy and James Redner, Sr. He had a passion for life, loved golfing, riding bikes, bowling, and playing video games. Bubba was a sports enthusiast; he loved the Pirates, Celtics, and the Buffalo Bills, plus the WWF. Coaching Little League for many years expressed his compassion for the game, the kids, and his community. A goal of his in life was to always do what he could to be one step ahead of his brother, Todd.

He was also the type of person that would do anything for a friend and they would do the same for him.

Holidays were the event for Bubba. He would start his shopping in the summer, then search for months for all the right decorations to express his love for the holidays, especially Christmas and Halloween. He would make these great cinnamon rolls that would melt in your mouth and spend weeks decorating his home. It was always the warmest place to be on the coldest of days. He will be missed tremendously by friends and family.

Survivors include his mother and stepfather Kathy and Rod Reynolds of Powell; his brothers, Todd Redner, Adam Redner, Michael Redner; his sister, Tanya Flowers of Billings; nephews Jack, Zack, Michael, Todd Jr, Dallas, Trey, Kaleb, and Ethan; and nieces Ashley and Kaileigh; and also his best friend and love, Karla.

For those who wish, the family would appreciate a donation to the American Cancer Society.

A celebration of his life will be held on Thursday June 9, at the Cremation Gallery, 29 8th Street West, Billings, at 1 p.m. Dress code is sports

memorabilia in his honor. Reception following at Par 3; there will be golfing in his honor for those who wish to participate.
