Orin LaVern Muller, 69, died suddenly in Red Lodge, Mont., on Friday, Nov . 26.

He was born Aug.17, 1935 in Frannie to Arthur Wilhelm and Hallie Opal (McCollum) Muller. He was a graduate of the University of Wyoming and a member of Kappa Sigma Fraternity. He married Sherron Christensen on Aug. 20, 1956, in Cowley. Together they had two daughters and a son.

Orin's life was devoted to family and Muller Trucking and Dirt Contracting, a company his father started in 1933. He was actively involved with the family business from the time he graduated from college until his retirement. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He spent many enjoyable hours fishing with his grandchildren. Orin always said that he wanted his family and friends to celebrate his life rather than be sad because his life here was finished.

He is survived by Sherron (Christensen) Muller, his wife of 48 years; daughter Troy An (Paul) Wambeke of Cowley; daughter Tamra DeCock, of White Sulphur Springs, Mont..; son, Reid Muller, of Denver; sister Arla Sessions of Orem, Utah, and brother Dennis Muller of Greybull. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Craig Muller.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 5p.m. at Dahl Funeral Chapel in Red Lodge. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Dec. 1 at 1 p.m., also at Dahl Funeral Chapel, Red Lodge. Cremation will take place following the services.
