Memorial services for Ann Beatrice Lovercheck, 90, will be held at a later date at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home with interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Lovercheck died March 28 at Hot Springs County Memorial Hospital.

She was born Dec. 16, 1913 in Stoutland, Mo., to Harry Parker and Ada (Boystun) Bell. The family moved to Yuma, Ariz., where she completed her education, graduating valedictorian of her class.

While visiting in Buckland, Mo., she met and married Verne Layfayette Fields Dec. 24, 1933. They traveled through many western states while he worked for Service Pipeline and finally settled in Elk Basin in 1955. Verne preceded her in death in 1959.

Ann worked at Elders Hardware, Chuck's Modern Electric and Kopriva's Hardware stores in Powell, retiring in 1977.

She married Corrie E. Lovercheck in 1962. He preceded her in death in 1999.

She was active in First Baptist Church, Eastern Star, Rebekahs, Modern Home Club and many other activities in the community. She was recently a resident of the Wyoming Pioneer Home.

Survivors included three stepchildren: Corrie L. Lovercheck of Jackson, Lawrence Lovercheck of Palo Alto, Calif., and Joyce Kelley of Thermopolis; 10 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sister-in-law Mary Lovercheck Randolph of DeSota, Texas; and a host of friends.

Moritmore Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
