Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 6 at 10 a.m. at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home in Powell for Darwin (Pinky) Henrichs, 62, who died peacefully at Clark Tuesday, March 2.

He was born May 21, 1941, in Powell to Loyal J. and Mary M. Henrichs. He attended Powell schools.

In November of 1960, he and Carolyn Lynch were married in Powell. They were later divorced.

He was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1962, serving until 1964, when he was honorably discharged. He spent his working days driving truck for a number of companies, among them L.L. Smith Trucking, Barney Rood Trucking, S&H Construction Co., and most recently, the Park County Road and Bridge Dept., which he referred to as Park County "Ruts and Bumps." He was a member of the Eagles Club in Thermopolis and also the U.S. Team Roping Championship organization. He took pride in having a good horse, his most recent one being called "Grumpy." He loved to fish, team rope and spend time ranching.

Survivors include his mother, Mary Krause of Powell; a very special friend, Sally Martin of Clark; daughters, L'Nette Doely and husband Greg of Powell and Brenda Shelby and husband Pat of Minneapolis, Minn.; a son, Danan Henrichs of wife Heather of Gilbert, Ariz.; his brother, Darrell Henrichs of Deaver; and seven grandchildren: Eric Doley and Laurie Johnson; Troy Palmer, Halie, and Jace Henrichs; and William and David Shelby.

He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Wayne Krause; and a grandson, Michael Shelby.

Should friends desire, memorials to a charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

Burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.
