Memorial services are scheduled Saturday, Dec. 6 at 11 a.m. at the American Legion in Powell for Scott Lewis Marney, 49, who died Wednesday, Nov. 26 at St. Vincent Healthcare in Billings, Mont.

He was born Oct. 5, 1954, in Powell to Robert and Doris Marney. He grew up in Bridger, Mont., and graduated from Bridger High School.

He married Diane Cook on July 2, 1977.

He was employed by United Rentals Highway Tech. He loved playing with his grandchildren, and he loved the mountains and his dogs. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Survivors include his wife of 26 years, Diane; two children and their spouses, Robert (Rob) Marney and his wife Nicole, and Jennifer Lydic and her husband Ian; two grandsons, Nathaniel and Bryce; his father, Robert (Bob) Marney; his mother, Doris; his two sisters, Penny and Sheila, and his brother, Craig; his seven nieces, eight nephews, two great-nieces and three great-nephews.
