Graveside funeral services are scheduled Thursday, Nov. 20 at 1 p.m. at Crown Hill Cemetery for Mary Irene Boyle Malliot, 92, who died Thursday, Nov. 13 in the Powell Hospital.

Fred Zier will officiate at services. Visitation from 7-9 p.m. is set Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home.

She was born Nov. 10, 1911, at Farnam, Nebr., daughter of Roy and Nellie (Hunt) Boyle. She married John Malliot Dec. 26, 1939, in Red Lodge, Mont.

She had lived in Garland since 1962, and she is a retired Garland postmistress.

She enjoyed her family and her hobbies of sewing, embroidery, reading and her birds.

Survivors include a son, Frank Malliot and former daughter-in-law, Linda Malliot of Lovell; three daughters, Mary (Earl) Layne of Brookings, Ore., Doris (Richard) Sievers of Powell and Frances (Marvin) Erickson of Powell; one brother, Ernest (Norma) Boyle of Powell; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Brandi Schuttemeier; sisters Edith Scrutchfield, Lois Boyle and Louise Boyle; and brothers Albert, Frank, Raymond, Gene, Cecil, Laurence and Harvey.

Pallbearers at the funeral will be Jeff Angel, Duane Morris, Freddie Zier, Frank Malliot, Melvin Mauch and Richard Sievers.
