Graveside services were held Saturday, March 15 at Crown Hill Cemetery for Jenaro Jasso, 79, Powell, who died Wednesday, March 12 at West Park Hospital in Cody.
Pastor Christopher Brandt officiated at services.
He was born in Mexico City, Mexico, on Oct. 23, 1923, to Donato and Jessie Jasso. In the summer of 1948, he married Juanita Reyes in Fort Wayne, Ind.
He loved the outdoors, fishing and hunting and working in his garden.
Survivors include his wife Juanita of Powell; sons Robert Jasso and wife Patricia of Denver, Carlos Jasso and wife Arleen of Cody; daughters Linda Lee Malliot and husband Frank of Lovell, Jessie Jasso of California, Lisa Sievert of Powell, Mary Anderson of Colorado and Rosie Jasso of North Carolina; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a grandson, Eric Jasso.
Pallbearers at the funeral were Robert Jasso, Lon Jasso, Jeff Angell, Frank Malliot, Norm Harris and Duane Morris. Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the family.
