Funeral services are scheduled today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. at Victory Fellowship in Cody for Kenneth Glen Jones, 65, who died Thursday, Oct. 24 at his home in Cody.

He was born Jan. 27, 1937, in Maud, Okla., son of Leslie Eugene and Bessie (Brooks) Jones. He was raised and attended schools in Maud, later moving from Oklahoma to Casper to work for a seismograph company.

On June 8, 1957, he married Wilma Smith in Rapid City, S.D. They moved to Cody in 1965 where he worked for Boydston-Franzen Well Service for 28 years until his retirement. In retirement, he enjoyed his landscaping job at Northern Gardens.

He enjoyed his grandkids and attending their activities. He also enjoyed RV living in Arizona during the winter, camping, hunting and sports.

Survivors include his wife Wilma of Cody; son Kenny Lee Jones and wife Tammie of Powell; daughters Betsy Payseno and husband Corky, Melissa Bales and husband Jerry and Melinda Jones, all of Cody; a brother, Charles L. Jones of Cheyenne; sisters Bernadine Diffee of Tulsa, Okla., Tina Cleary of Andrews, Texas, Betty Hanks and Johnnie Scott, both of Jennings, Okla.; and six grandchildren, Drew, James, Ethen, Kari, Katie and Dakota.

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter Nicole Peterson.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Cody.

Memorials may be made to the building fund at Victory Fellowship.
