Powell resident Beuford Lee Henrichs, 84, died Aug. 1 at University Hospital in Salt Lake City.

He was born Oct. 22, 1917 in Diller, Neb. to George and Eva (Bousch) Henrichs. He was a high school graduate. On March 7, 1959, he and Clista Keagle were married. They made their home in the Powell area. He was a member of the BPOE, Eagles Club, and Big Horn Basin Boat Club. His second love in life was fishing.

He is survived by his wife Clista of the family home; sons Neil A. Henrichs and wife Connie of Menlo Park, Calif. and Donald Durand and wife Anna of Orlando, Fla.; daughter Joan Nelson and husband Alan of Pendleton, Ore.; brother Carroll Henrichs of Powell; a sister Bethel Tipton and husband John of Hollister, Calif.; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Wayne and Loyal.

Funeral services are planned for 2 p.m. today (Tuesday) at the First United Methodist Church in Powell, with the Rev. Ron Kapalka officiating. Pallbearers will be Bob Johnstone, Melvin Scott, Mel Cozzens, Sam Alexander, Darrel Henrichs and Fred Gilcrist. Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials might be made to a charity of one's choice.
