The daughter of former residents died Wednesday, Oct. 3 in Alamosa, Colo.

Jessie Christine Johnson, 44, was the daughter of John and Louise Jilcott, formerly of Powell.

She was born Oct. 9, 1956, in Steamboat Springs, Colo. She loved to jog and exercise. She also loved the outdoors and enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Her father, John Jilcott, preceded her in death in 1994.

Survivors include her children, Becky Decker of Laramie and Jeremy Decker of Minot, N.D.; her mother, Jouise Jilcott of Grand Junction, Colo.; her sisters, Eileen Cantu and husband Toney of Alamosa and Jeanne Morris and husband Jack of Boise, Idaho; her brothers, Jim Jilcott and wife Mary of Grand Junction and John Jilcott and wife Teri of Edwards, Calif.; one grandchild, two nieces and one nephew.

Cremation has taken place, and private family services will be held at a later date. Contributions to Hospice Del Valle, P.O. Box 1549, Alamosa, CO 81101 would be appreciated by the family.
