Funeral services are scheduled today (Tuesday) at 2 p.m. at Miratsky-Easton Funeral Home for Connie N. Case, 72, who died Thursday, Sept. 20 at the Powell Hospital.

The Rev. Clyde Thompson will officiate at services and burial in Crown Hill Cemetery.

She was born March 4, 1929, in Laurel, Miss., to Charlie and Mollie (Conerly) Mulford. On Jan. 14, 1950, she and Clifford L. Case were married in Pascagoula, Miss.

For 37 years, they lived in Rapid City, S.D., serving the Southern Baptist Churches. For the last eight years, they have resided in Powell, near their son and daughter-in-law.

She enjoyed reading and playing gospel music on the piano and organ.

Survivors include her husband Clifford of the family home in Powell; a son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth Ray and Myrna Case of Powell; six grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Millie Mulford.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m. at the funeral home.

Pallbearers at the funeral will be Dan Shumway, Ron Elwood, David Jamison, Jim Smith, Vern Groskop, Chris Hoellwarth and Bill Greaham. Honorary pallbearers include Don Buchanan, R.H. Rock, Warren Reub, Ken Case and Bob Webber.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
