A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. today (Thursday) at Trinity Lutheran Church in Cody for Dennis Allen Daley, 48, who died at his home in Cody Monday, Aug. 20 of heart complications.

The Rev. Larry Vinson will officiate.

Mr. Daley was born Sept. 17, 1952, in Casper , son of Robert and Margaret (Jolley) Daley. He married Debora Martin on Dec. 17, 1977, and the family moved from Casper to Cody 15 years ago.

He was a master carpenter and opened two businesses while in Cody, D.A.D.'s Carpentry in 1989 and Rocky Mountain Trusses in 1996, working hard to make these enterprises a success.

Mr. Daley built several kiosks for the U.S. Forest Service that have been placed on the North Fork highway. He was a member of Carpenters Local #642.

He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to snowmobile and camp in the mountains. He enjoyed woodworking and attending garage sales and auctions. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his wife, Debora, of Cody; four children, Dionne of Denver, Colo., Brenton of Casper, and Daniel and Darcy, both of Cody; five grandchildren, Brenton, Erica, Michael, Jordan and Phoenix Daley; a brother, Glenn Daley of Casper; and two sisters, Cheryl Brothwell of Pierce, Colo., and Gloria Hawks of Rock Springs. He was preceded in death by his parents.
