The mother of a Powell man died Saturday, August 18 at the Powell Nursing Home.
Naida Bauder, 93, was the mother of Ron Rickert. She had come to live in Powell in 1997.She was born May 23, 1908, in Trinidad, Colo., the daughter of Frank B. East and Jessie Edith (Wilcox) East.
She lived in Sterling, Colo., from 1936 to 1997.
She loved bowling and participated in the Women's Bowling Congress for 35 years.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law Ron and Mary Jane Rickert of Powell; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and graveside services for burial of cremains will be held at a future date in Sterling, Colo.
