Funeral services were held Wednesday at the LDS Chapel in Cowley at 11 a.m. for Charlotte Jeanette Homewood, who died of cancer Thursday, Dec. 28 at her Frannie home. She was 76.

She was born Dec. 2, 1924, to Wilford and Dena Parent. She grew up and attended school in eastern Montana.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her children and friends, and helping her husband run their ranch.

She enjoyed many hobbies, among them painting, which gave family and friends much enjoyment.

Survivors include her husband, Buck Homewood of Frannie; and children JaeLynn and Jessica Homewood of Frannie; Ralina Houston of Columbus, Mont., Janet Tyree and husband Bud of Kalispell, Mont., Kevin Homewood and wife Debbie of Columbus, Mont., Jim Houston of Kodiak, Alas., and Delphine and Lucky Homewood of Wyoming; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Ida Jensen and son Jim Homewood.

Memorial contributions to Kefar Shrine Crippled Children's Fund in care of David Peck at the Lovell Chronicle would be appreciated by the family.

Burial will be in the Deaver-Frannie Cemetery.
