Former Meeteetse resident LeRoy Allen Woody, 82, died Wednesday, Dec. 20 at the Central Wyoming Hospice Home in Casper.
He was born May 23, 1918, in Glendo, son of Lee A. and Anna S. (Hanson) Woody.
For 16 years, he was employed on the HooDoo Ranch between Meeteetse and Cody. His hobbies were fishing, hunting, gardening, reading and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include three daughters, Cheryl Alley of Mills, Rena Bjornson of Riverton and Sharen Paben of Meeteetse; two sons, Daniel Woody of Meeteetse and Lyle Woody of Casper; a sister, Leda Ausich of Casper; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
