Donna was born Sept. 11, 1932 in Worland, the daughter of Frank and Josephine (Brunk) Moore. She attended schools in Worland and Powell, graduating in 1950.

She married William "Bill" Farris on Dec. 14, 1956. Their union was blessed with two sons. Most of her married life was spent in Denver. Bill preceded her in death on Aug. 27, 1981.

Upon the death of her son Mitchell in 1992, Donna made her final move to her home in Uintah, where she made and cherished new-found friendships.

She took a keen interest in genealogy at the age of 16, compiling a family history book in 1998. She knitted beautiful afghans and slippers. She made wonderful beef jerky. She was a dear mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Most of all, she was very supportive of her children and grandchildren, especially where sports were concerned.

She was preceded in death by her husband and son Mitchell, her father and her sister Elaine Schweighart.

She is survived by son Marc (Vickie) Farris, of Roy, Utah; grandchildren Bronda, Jaime, Sara and Vanessa, sister Patricia (Bob) Stigen of Maple Valley, Wash.; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place.
