Agnes Cecelia Torczon, 87, of Cody died at West Park Hospital on Friday, Jan. 7, 2011.

Agnes was born to Frank and Linda Thull on Jan. 29, 1923 in Rothiemay, Mont.

She married the love of her life, Stephen Torczon, on April 8, 1941 in Powell. They were blessed with four children. The family farmed in Clark until they moved to farm in Cody in 1963.

She enjoyed needle-pointing, crocheting and quilting. During her youth, Agnes played piano for various dances. She loved to play cards, especially pinochle with her husband. She was a very active member of the Church of St. Anthony in Cody since 1963. Above all else, Agnes loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her four children: Linda Torczon, Melvin Torczon, David (Sandra) Torczon, and Edna Torczon; four grandsons: Mike (Tammy) Torczon, Clint (Marissa) Torczon, Jeff (Amy) Torczon, and Greg (Sarah) Torczon; seven great-grandchildren: Lillian, Stephen, Devon, Austin, Lane, Libby and Miranda; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews; and a sister: Mildred Stone, of Connell, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen, her parents, 10 brothers, and two sisters.

Visitation will be held at Ballard Funeral Home in Cody on Thursday, Jan. 13 from 4-6 p.m. Vigil and Rosary services will follow at The Church of St. Anthony at 7 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, with burial to follow at Riverside Cemetery.
