Marsha Lee Fetzer

(Dec. 9, 1949 - May 28, 2010)Marsha Lee Fetzer, 60, of Torrington, died on May 28, 2010, at Davis Hospice Center in Cheyenne after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Powell on Dec. 9, 1949, to Clarence and Hazel Carpenter. Marsha grew up and attended school and college in Powell before moving to Cheyenne where she spent 21 years. She spent the last three years living in Torrington.

Marsha was a registered dental hygienist for 15 years and was employed by Dr. Todd Peiper in Scottsbluff, Neb., and Dr. Richard Giovale in Cheyenne. She loved her career and her patients.

She was a devoted daughter, mother and grandmother who spent her free time being “Gram.”

Marsha loved autumn, pumpkins and the mountains. She had many good friends and was known for her contagious laughter, smile and her generous and kind heart.

She is survived by her three sisters, Jean Cheney, Twila Bancroft and Billie Gillett; daughters, Robyn Fetzer, Amy Van Eaton (Heath) and Rebecca Quillen (Dustin); and seven grandchildren: Lindsey Fetzer-Achenbach, Savannah Provost, Collin Fetzer, Jessica and Landen Quillen and Sedonie and Alexa Van Eaton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her dear friend, Mary Weinland.

Memorial services have taken place in Cheyenne, and a graveside service will be held in Powell at 10 a.m. on July 23, at Crown Hill Cemetery.
