Sherri Lynn Jones-Jensen (Graves), a third-generation Wyoming native, died on May 30, 2010, following a tragic accident.
She was born to Raemae and Edward Jones in Cody on June 22, 1957.
Sherri lived a life of integrity. Clients of her horse and real estate businesses trusted and respected her, and many became life-long friends.
She loved animals, and they loved her back. She was a superb trainer and horse breeder and was a skilled horsewoman. Her expertise will be missed in the Arabian horse world.
Sherri treasured her family and took good care of them. She honored her mother and father and reflected the honesty and compassion they instilled in her. Her time with her husband, Jon Jensen, was short, but filled with adventure and joy.
Sherri's dad said, “There never was a more wonderful day than a horseback ride in the mountains with Sherri.”
She is survived by her husband and parents; her sister Melanee Kennell (Dave) and nieces McKenzie and Bryn; her brother Greg Jones (Kaye) and niece Cedar Jasso (Eli), along with grandniece and grandnephew Ellie and Carlos.
A celebration of Sherri's life will be on Sunday, June 6, at 3 p.m. at the Eagles Hall in Powell.
