He was 73.Mr. Frey was born April 21, 1928, in Malta, Mont., to Charles and Lola (Anderson) Frey.He moved to Powell in 1989 to be near his sister when he retired as a machinist in California. Survivors include his wife, Flora, their son, Karl and his wife Lydia, and granddaughter Kristine, all of Azusa, Calif.; his sister and her husband, Joyce and Jim Stewart of Powell; and a brother, Gail, in Bozeman, Mont.He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Don.Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Ballard Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
