Ronald J. Bice, 74, of Cody, died peacefully on Sept. 26, 2017.
Ron’s sweet, gentle, adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by everyone who knew him. Ron was an active member of the Cody 59ers, Wyoming Archaeological Society, Master Gardeners, Knights of Columbus, HAM Radio Club, and the Saint Anthony Singles.
As an avid rock-hound, he loved exploring the area and looking for treasures, even when his heart was in it but his body just couldn’t keep up. Ron was also an extensive reader and one of his favorite places to visit was the Park County Library, where he was always welcomed by name. He enjoyed spending as much time as he could with all of his new friends.
Ron was born on June 13 in Chilicothe, Missouri, to Kenneth and Margaret Bice. He was married to his beloved wife Kathleen for 39 years until her death in 2007.
He moved to Cody in 2012 and truly enjoyed the community. He leaves behind three daughters, a son and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held at St. Anthony Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Oct. 14, with a luncheon to follow. His final resting place will be in Colorado beside his wife.
