Jillian Loretta Rasmussen was born on Oct. 3, 1963, to Wallace William Rasmussen and Loretta Rose Lee Rasmussen in Tioga, North Dakota. She died June 1, 2017, at the age of 53.
Jillian “Jilly Bean” was always on the move and busy. She accomplished many things, such as a master’s degree in project management, along with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, with a nursing degree
She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, working on the ranch, gardening, antique shopping and traveling — just being consistently inconsistent.
Jillian is survived by her life partner James H. Wolff; son Robert William Hicks and his wife Miranda; son Hunter Lee Hicks and his life partner Stephanie; daughter Erin Nicole Hicks and her life partner Martin; and eight wonderful grandchildren.
Jillian was preceded in death by her father, mother and brother.

Celebration of life for Jillian Rasmussen will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 22, at New Life Wesleyan Church, 100 Comanche Ave. in Gillette. A luncheon will follow the service at the Landing.
