G. Nadine Schleich, of Powell, died at home with her family by her side on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was 92.
Nadine was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Dutton, Oklahoma, the daughter of Harry and Floy Mounce.
She married Harry Schleich on May 24, 1949, in Powell. They raised four children: Darrell Gates of Powell, Glenda Baird (Jim) of Red Lodge, Montana, Sandy Ellis (Jerry) of Cedaredge, Colorado, and Larry Schleich (Terry) of Powell.
Nadine started her long insurance career with Harriet Castberg. Harry died in 1986 and Nadine retired in 1988.
She was very active in the American Legion Auxiliary. Her family was her life.
Nadine was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, a sister, her stepfather, Roy Larson, and her grandson, Reece Schleich.
She is survived by her four children, eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
