Vivian L. Jones (Grandma Jones), 98, of Powell, passed away the morning of Feb. 24, 2017.
Vivian was born in Roberts, Montana, to Elmer Webber and Lela Clark on Jan. 11, 1919. She married Ralph Jones on March 27, 1935, in Billings, Montana. She was a housewife and early homesteader. Grandma was an avid gardener and skilled embroiderer.
Vivian was preceded in death by husband, Ralph; Mother, Father, brother and sisters.
Vivian is survived by children: Wanda (Max), Wayne (Gail), and Bonnie (Richard); 9 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and 29 great-great grandchildren.
Viewing/memorial services were held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 27, at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell. Burial followed at Penrose Cemetery. Prayer by son, Wayne Jones.
Pallbearers were Dennis Eden, Justin Eden, Cory Eden, Tanner Eden, Tim Fagnant, Jeff Jones, Richard Ruiz, Gordon White, Eric Jones, Trevor Feusner and Jonus Aguilar. Honorary pallbearers were all grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
