Tyler Scott Davidson, 32, of Cody, died Dec. 13, 2016 after suffering a traumatic fall.

Tyler was born in Billings on May 21, 1984. He joined the Army upon completion of high school in 2003 and proudly served eight years with two 13-month tours to Iraq in 2005 and 2009. Among numerous awards, medals and badges, he was promoted to sergeant in October 2008.

Upon leaving the Army in October 2010, Tyler moved to Cody to work with his father and soon after met his soulmate, Kristina. They moved around Montana before returning to Cody in 2013 and purchased their business from Tyler’s father. They were married in 2014 and lived a life fairytales would envy.

Other than leaving too soon, Tyler would have no regrets; he lived every moment to the fullest. Serving in the Army gave him a unique perspective and zest for life. He wore many hats: loving son, big brother, soldier, business owner, dreamer, fierce friend and devoted husband.

Tyler always made an impression; if you met him he left you with a story to tell. Those lucky enough to find their way into his heart know it was one-of-a-kind — full of love, loyalty and courage.

Tyler leaves behind his wife Kristina; mother Lori; and brother Trenton, as well as many family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Scott.

A remembrance will be held on Jan. 8 at 2 p.m. at the Silver Dollar Bar. A memorial account has been set up in Tyler’s name at Pinnacle Bank in Cody for assistance with hospital expenses.

Services have been entrusted to Ballard Funeral Home. An online memorial is available at www.ballardfh.com.
