Powell native Troy Hissam, 49, died Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016, in Douglas.
Troy was born March 23, 1967, in Crawford, Nebraska, the son of Michael Floyd and Jewell LaVonna (Chubb) Hissam.
Troy is survived by his wife, Robyn (Fleenor) Hissam; two children, Michaela Hissam and Shanter Hissam all of Cathedral City, California; parents, Jewell and Mike Hissam of Douglas; siblings, Jill (Wally) Vanatwerp of Kuna, Idaho, and Kirk Hissam of Douglas; and paternal grandmother, Jean Hissam of Douglas.
Troy was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents.
Troy was loved by all who knew him.Â
A celebration of life service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 7, at the Gorman Funeral Homes-Converse Chapel in Douglas.
