Kelly J. Riggs died June 25, 2016. He was 48.
He was born in Houston, Texas, to Ralph and Darlene Riggs on July 10, 1967.
The family moved to Denver when Kelly was a month old, and he lived there until he moved to Cody 20 years ago.
Kelly loved life because of the many people he met along the way. He was a kind, caring and loving person with a generous heart who made friends easily. His home was a gathering place for many friends and he was a ray of sunshine to family and friends. Kelly was loved by all who knew him.
Kelly is survived by his parents, Darlene Manning of Cody and Ralph Riggs of Denver; brothers Kory Riggs of Denver, Patrick (Michelle) Manning of Denver, Chris Manning of Cody, Geoff Manning of Denver; and his sister Meredith Manning of Chicago. His nephews are Ryan Manning of Denver and Jack Manning of Cody. His nieces are Meredith and Madison Manning of Denver.
He was preceded in death by his step-father Jack Manning, and his grandparents Darrell and Agnes Neely and Robert and Edna Riggs.
A vigil will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, June 30, and a memorial service will be Friday, July 1, at 10 a.m., both at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Cody.
