Lorraine Noreen Ingersoll, 65, of Basin, died at her residence on Friday, June 3, 2016.

Lorraine was born on Sept. 19, 1950 in Powell, to Levi Norman Meyers and Evelyn Noreen “Flossy” Jackson Meyers. She received her schooling in Powell.

Lorraine married Clark Allen Rook, Jr. in the spring of 1969. To this union were born three children, Lindy, Walter Newton and Millie.  Lorraine and Clark later divorced in 1975.

Lorraine met and married James Ronald Ingersoll on Nov. 14, 1980, in Basin. To this union were born two daughters, Mandi Jo and Misty Dawn.

Lorraine enjoyed doing arts and crafts and was an avid reader. She played bingo and had the gift of “gab.” Lorraine enjoyed genealogy work. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.

She was a former member of the Basin Eagles Aerie No. 3086.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Joseph Meyers and her twin, Levi “Sonny” Meyers; and mother-in-law, Joyce Ingersoll.

Lorraine is survived by her husband, Ronnie Ingersoll of Greybull; her five children, Lindy (Rob) O’Rourke of Powell, Walter Newton Rook of Wenatchee, Washington, Millie (Kevin) Wall of Casper, Mandi Jo Ingersoll and Misty Dawn Ingersoll, both of Eau Claire, Wisconsin; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; sister, Louise Brauher; and brother, John David Meyers.

There will be a celebration of Lorraine’s life held on Friday, June 10, at Washington Park in Basin from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Atwood Family Funeral Directors assisted the family with the arrangements.
