Lloyd Thomas Lamb, 76, of Belfry, Montana, died in April of 2016.

He was born Feb. 15, 1940 in Belfry, Montana, to Claude Thomas and Vera Marie Lamb.

Lloyd went to school in Montana through first grade, then to Suntrana, Alaska, schools through the 8th grade. He attended high school at Sheldon Junior College in Sitka, Alaska, through 11th grade and graduated from Powell High School in Powell in 1958.

Lloyd enlisted in the Navy on June 9, 1958, and received an honorable discharge from the Armed Services of the United States Navy on June 1, 1962. While in the Navy he earned his knowledge in the electronics repair field.

Lloyd married Donna Spomer in December 1959. They had four sons: Lynn, Larry, Lyle and Lance. They were later divorced.

After his service, Lloyd repaired electronics on early warning radars in Clear, Alaska. He later ran a farming and ranching operation and worked in the oil industry in the Powell area. He then returned to the electronics repair on early warning radars in Clear, Alaska, Greenland, and the Marshall Islands.

Lloyd married Sharon Hill on April 24, 2014.

Lloyd enjoyed his many hunting trips in Wyoming and Alaska, aviation, firearms, fishing, family and especially his grandchildren.

Lloyd is survived by his mother Vera Marie Lamb of Fairbanks, Alaska: sister Parlee Thompson of Two Rivers, Alaska, brother Kenny Lamb of Fairbanks: sons Lynn (Jenya) Lamb of Meeteetse, Larry (Carol) Lamb of Riverton, Lyle (Theresa) Lamb of Powell, and Lance (Shawna) Lamb of Elk, Washington, and grandchildren Lynton (Emily) Lamb, Lucas, Landon, Logan, Levi, Cameron, Karson, Lacy and Summer.

Lloyd will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
