Raye (Rae) Maree Spaulding Netherton, died peacefully on Nov. 2, 2015, in Sheridan, at the age of 75.

Raye was born on Dec. 24, 1939, in Fromberg, Montana, to Archine and Mae Spaulding.

She was married to John Boehme in 1955. Then, later she married Dean Netherton on Aug. 20, 1973, in Casper.

Raye is survived by her husband of 43 years Dean Netherton; her siblings, Renald and Annie Spaulding of Glendive, MT and Lia and Dan La Fromboise of Craig, Montana; her children, Lana and Don Sheen of Livingston, Montana, Alvin and Sandie Boehme of Paradise, Texas, Michelle and Joe Foeller of Coeur D’Alene, Idaho, and Deana Netherton of Hayden, Idaho; along with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Her life revolved around her family. Raye was a fabulous cook, she prepared all her meals and treats with love.  Raye enjoyed her flowers and gardening for the wealth in providing her to preserve all the goodies.

She shared her creativity with family and friends through her sewing and handmade crafts that were cherished by those whom had received them throughout the years. Raye found great fulfillment in the outdoor life such as camping and fishing with her husband Dean, their family and friends. If not on the mountain, Raye loved traveling throughout the Midwest visiting all her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  She also enjoyed cozying up with a good book.

When not spending time with family and friends, Raye worked in a variety of retail positions over the years until she retired in 2006.

The family would like to thank the wonderful Sheridan Memorial Hospital staff and caregivers for their compassionate care, it will never be forgotten.
