Marguerite Dalke, 87, died on Monday, April 13, 2015, at the Powell Valley Care Center.
Marge was born on March 14, 1928, in Nodoway, Mo., to Henry Harry Lammers and Ida Mae Cain. Marge met Malven Dalke at a Church Youth Center in Powell where they began their courtship.
They married on Oct. 30, 1949. They were married for 67 years.
They lived throughout the Big Horn Basin during this time and were members of the Church of God of Prophecy.
Marge did many things throughout her life. She cleaned houses, did ironing for people, was a cook and waitress, but most of all she was a mom to many foster children and babysat many local children.
Marge is survived by her husband, Malven, and one sister, Darlene Pearce of Manderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents and several brothers and sisters.
Funeral services were Wednesday, April 22, at the New Life Church in Powell, officiated by pastor Tim Morrow.
Honorary pallbearers were Bradly Schwab, Corky Ando, Tyler Davison, Ben Dalke, Bill Goosman and Gene Peterson.
