Daile Lin Pascoe of Powell died Jan. 1, 2015. She was 17.

She was born March 8, 1997, in Powell, to Susan June (Wager) and John Robert Pascoe.

Daile was a senior at Powell High School, and served as the manager for the volleyball team. She worked at Vali Twin Cinema and KPOW Radio.

Daile enjoyed music and liked to sing. Her other interests included writing, French, theater and drama. She also was involved with 4-H, working with horses. Daile’s friends were her love and passion.

She was affectionately known as “Pickle.”

Daile was a Christian and attended Faith Community Church.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Raymond and Sarah Wager and Mart and Alice Pascoe.

Daile is survived by her parents John and Susan Pascoe; sisters Sarah Pascoe and Katie (Curtis) Bennett; and nephews Kanton and Kooper Apanashk.

A memorial service will take place at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at New Life Church in Powell, with Pastor Clyde Seifert and Pastor Kevin Piscator officiating.

A spreading of her ashes will take place on the top of Heart Mountain on March 8 — what would have been her 18th birthday. Anyone is welcome to attend.

Memorial donations can be Big Horn Federal toward a fund in Daile’s name for a sports scholarship.
