Jerry was a dear man who touched a lot of people around him. In today's world, not many stop and take the time to really converse with others, show compassion and genuine care. Jerry was this person, always thinking of others. Westside staff will never forgot his willingness to give, especially on Valentine's Day. He loved sharing this holiday and always participated in our Secret Valentine exchange. On one special occasion he even bought some stuffed animal Valentine's for some special recipients. The school then put all the student names in the drawing and he was able to draw out the lucky winners and gift them. This act of kindness, I am certain is only one of many he shared, leaving his mark and touching many. Thank you Jerry for shining and sharing so much of your spirit with those around you! Sincere sympathies to Jerry's family.
