Jim White, of Sidney, Mont., died Dec. 8, 2014. He was 73.

He was born July 23, 1941, to John and Christine (Free) White in Fanshawe, Okla. He grew up with his twin sister Sybil Fae Swicegood of Utah and brother Donald White of Powell.

He proudly served in the United States Army National Guard from 1962-66. 

Jim lived in Albuquerque, N.M., and worked as a security guard. He later moved to Sidney, Mont., to be closer to his brother and family where he worked for the Richland County School District until his retirement in 2004. 

He is survived by his nieces and nephews David (Erin) Swicegood, Terri (Art) Shimata, Eric (Emily) White, James (Heather) White, Clint White, Troy (Trista) White, Charise (Russell) Rose, Cassie (Kevin) Glenn; and more than 30 great-nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Ann White. 

Jim was preceded in death by his parents John and Christine White, his twin sister Sybil Fae Swicegood and brother Donald White.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Dec. 13, at Thompson Funeral Home in Powell.

Arrangements were handled by Thompson Funeral Home and Crematory.
