Thomas Rodney Mangus, 54, of Powell, died at St. Vincent’s Hospital with his sisters by his side in Billings, Mont., on Sept. 23, 2014. He fought a long, courageous battle with lung disease.

He was born in Thermopolis on Nov. 19, 1959, to Charles Wayne and Donna (Laddusaw) Mangus.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Peggy Mangus Tarr.

Thomas is survived by his sister Pam (Lee) Tresler; niece Jennifer (Ryan) Tinker; great-nephew Larsen Tinker; nephew Jeremy (Melissa) Tresler and niece Jana (Matt) Treglown; great-nephew Oliver Treglown; sister Sue (Rob) Hamilton; niece Jessi (Zach) Bowman; and great-nephew Corbin Bowman, nephew Kip (Coty) Claycomb; and great-nephew Thomas Claycomb; great-nieces A’din and J’lee Ringel; nephew Mathew (Staci) Tarr; great-nephew Bransen Tarr; nephew Chance (Courtney) Tarr, great-nephews Bralin and Jensen Tarr; and nephews Justin Tarr and Cody Dalton Tarr.

Memorial donations can be made to the American Lung Association, 55 W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601. Family services will be held at a later date.
