Mavis E. Iverson, 88, died Monday, May 19, 2014, surrounded by family members in Billings.
She was born on July 12, 1925, to Ray and Caroline Anderson in Clayton Township, Bowbells, N.D.
She married Orville Iverson on Dec. 22, 1945, in Plentywood, Mont.
Mavis and Orville resided in several towns before settling in Billings in 1970. The other communities were Harlowton, White Sulphur Springs, and Lewistown, all in Montana, and Powell.
Preceding her in death were her husband, Orville; brother Jack; and sister Patty.
She is survived by her sons, Ken (Sue) of Colorado Springs, Colo.; Barry of Tempe, Ariz.; Bruce of Coolidge, Ariz.; daughter Karalee Lee (Jim) of Weston, W.V.; brother Garry Anderson (MaryAnn); sister RaeDeen Weinberger (Vern); 10 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Thursday, May 22, at Peace Lutheran Church in Billings.
