Karl Edward “Ed” Schnackenberg of Cody died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014. He was 67.
He is survived by his mother Joyce Schnackenberg Brower, wife Kip, his three children Hauns (Amy), Aunika (Carson) Kleinfeldt, Karl (Jolene) and his soon-to-be nine grandchildren.
Words can’t capture the man who was a husband, father, teacher, mentor, coach and friend in the Cody community and so many places beyond. For those who knew him, they knew him as someone who had joy and life abundant and truly lived his life.
Ed was a man who loved God and let Jesus shine through him in all that he did. Here’s to keeping a wet edge painting, a wet line with a fish on the end and finishing the race well.
A memorial service was held Feb. 17 at the Cody Missionary Alliance Church.
Ballard Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.
