Ruth Ina Badura, 93, of Cody, died peacefully at Spirit Mountain Hospice House in Cody on Sept. 10, 2013.
She was born in Absarokee, Mont., on March 17, 1920, the sixth child of 13 born to her parents Charles Albert Moore and Eva Jane Jones Moore.
Ina was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Her devotion to the savior through her prayer and service was a great example to many.
Her ability to see a need and fill it was always amazing as her heart went out to others, especially children wherever and whoever they were.
Her wonderful musical talents included singing, yodeling and playing guitar, piano, organ and accordion. Ina was a gifted, self-taught musician. From a very young age until high school graduation, she played piano at church and school functions.
She and two older brothers played for country dances for many years. She taught her daughters basic keyboard skills, how to sing and harmonize and ensured opportunities for further musical instruction. Her musical talent blessed many.
As an active member of the Wyoming Homemakers Extension Club for many years, Ina served in several leadership roles and received awards. Additionally, she was a strong supporter and leader in the 4-H program.
Her devotion to her “girls” was unfailing.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Benedict Badura, her mother and father, sons-in-law Ken Case and Ric Estrada, 10 siblings and two great-grandchildren.
Ina is survived by brothers George Moore and Heber (Karen) Moore; daughters Myrna Case, Loretta Estrada, Alberta Badura, and Delphine (Michael) Murphy; as well as 24 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Family was her great source of joy and she was aware of and prayed for each one in their specific needs. She lived by the motto, “Nose in the Scriptures, knees on the floor.”

Services will be Friday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Stake Center located at 1407 Heart Mountain St. in Cody.
